Our classroom is exactly that. OUR classroom. OUR space. OUR safe place. OUR growth. OUR learning. OUR family. Our classroom is co-created by the ones who make it ours -the students. Students are encouraged to make their voice heard throughout the year. They are encouraged to give me kind, helpful, and specific feedback as a teacher just as I provide them kind, helpful, and specific feedback on their work!
Mission
To put a strong emphasis on social emotional learning while honoring the spirit and culture that makes us unique as a class and as humans! Our classroom will simply support and guide us on our learning journey that we embark on together!
Vision
To hold each other to the highest standards of learning through deeper, meaningful, and authentic work. We will work together to challenge ourselves daily and persevere through complex work by supporting each other and reframing our mistakes as a natural process of growth. Our class work will reflect the passions and interests of our students while covering the necessary content for students to thrive in their future.
